I would like to thank the whole consortium, each one with their name, consideration and respect, working since a long time to make this event real.
I am so proud to take part in the Morocco Tech Brand launch today.
So, if you may allow me… I would like to present AUSIM briefly :
AUSIM is an Association,
29 years old,
Set up by Companies, Not Individuals… Yes, companies –
I myself represent the Casablanca Stock Exchange-Bourse de Casablanca, lot of Digital Users, meeting here today are AUSIM members…
All the three economic sectors are represented within AUSIM… BUT also, and for some weeks, and thanks to the Ministry of Digital Transition… Ministries are joining
Yes, it is one of our biggest challenges, a real success, and thus the 1st brick in the Morocco Tech era.
AUSIM is made up of more than 100 Institutions, weighing more than 25% of Moroccan GDP, with more than 120.000 IT/Digital Users…
So we represent the DEMAND, in terms of IT solutions, applications, Platforms, Cloud First, Infrastructure, Disruptive Techs, Talents… Yes Talents We do need more! Mr Minister Sekkouri confirmed that
We are fighting for a “Tech, Made in Morocco” …We are working together, with all stakeholders to have high calibre companies, Moroccan IT Champions, Start-ups…, We are ready to offer experimentation fields, POCs where MVPs could be produced.
And, All of us, together, we can Build and Create that Digital Nation… it is not Just a Battle… IT IS THE Battle.
AUSIM is dynamic in Digital, but also, Beyond Digital as you may see in our motto, very active in R&D, we have nearly 30 White Books or as we used to call them AUSIWhiteBooks, co-developed with prestigious Firms, to name few: Bearing Point, BCG, IBM, Data Protect, DELL…. We are supporting Universities, financing studies for students coming from needy areas but presenting high potential talent, all of them are now at Moroccan and French Engineering High Schools…

Morocco Tech, Let’s Start with Why:
In our vision, “Building a digital nation is an Infinite Game, where only Digital Inclusion could perpetuate the Game”
Digital inclusion attempts to address issues related to digital literacy and access to IT.
Digital Inclusion is “the ability of individuals and groups to access, and use information and communications technologies.”.
The 3 As to address are: Access, Adoption, and Application
Together, these elements lead to the ultimate goal of creating a more digitally inclusive society, and thus making of a country like Morocco, already strategic by its history, stability and openness a major player and a destination of choice for investors in Digital Techs.
I quote His Majesty May God glorify him in his speech of March 21, 2018 at the extraordinary summit of heads of states of the African Union:

Our commitment towards Moroccans is to be back next year, same time, same place, and to celebrate achievements, real added value, tangible ones,
So Success Key Factors should be set… That’s why, today is only a beginning. So, Let’s start with the end in mind… It should be a beginning of something much bigger, greater, higher, faster, much useful for that Morocco Digital Nation.
So, We, AUSIM, are here today to show our total commitment, under the umbrella of Morocco Tech, by working with our partners, Authority, and everyone to address the real issues:
gaps to fill, subjects to investigate, solutions to find, innovation to inculcate, Universities to embark, Start-ups to strengthen…
That should be our Infinite Game
