The ADEX2023 event in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, kicked off on November 24 under the theme “The levers of digital maturity”, organized by One Africa Forums in partnership with the DRC Presidency’s Agency for Digital Development (ADN). Hicham Chiguer, President of AUSIM, took part in the inaugural panel after speeches by Hind Sidqui, Managing Director of One Africa Forums, HEM Patrick Muyaya, Minister of Communication and Media of the DRC, and HEM Dominique Migisha, Coordinator of the Digital Development Agency at the Presidency of the DRC, in the presence of the Moroccan Ambassador to the DRC.
The debate on egov captivated the audience, exploring the current state of affairs and future challenges. My remarks summarized Morocco’s experience, the current state of initiatives, past and future strategies, highlighting the white paper on digital administration presented by AUSIM on October 31, as well as the 10 recommendations for a resilient, citizen-centric digital administration. The second part of my speech focused on sovereignty.
